Ropers of all ages and skill levels are welcome at the Ellerman Arena located just outside of Ft. Lupton, Colorado. Jay, a five-time National Finals Rodeo Qualifier, has been instructing ropers and riders for over 23 years and is considered by his peers as one of the best teachers in the business. You may come to the Ellerman Arena or he'll come to yours. Jay enjoys watching his students become top competitors or just assisting them in improving their skills so they may enjoy the great sport of team roping. We offer intruction for all levels of ropers, as well as horsemanship, from beginner to the advanced, there is something to learn at the Ellerman Arena. We also train and have a select few roping horses for sale.
