Brit Ellerman grew up in a family deeply rooted in ranching, rodeo, business, and politics. Having a strong foundation in the Western lifestyle shaped his career and values. He graduated from the University of Wyoming on a rodeo scholarship and pursued professional rodeo while also launching businesses under Ellerman Brands, including Texas Saddlery, Ellerman Marketing, and C Slash Bits and Spurs.


In addition, Brit continues to compete professionally in rodeo, with a few qualifications to the NFR Open, circuit finals appearances and championships. In 2024, Brit married Makenna (Balkenbush) Ellerman, marking a new chapter in his personal life. He also trained as an actor for a time with the Barron Brown Studio in Los Angeles and has appeared in commercials, movies, and TV shows, as well as worked with Nashville recording artists and songwriters. He and his companies have collaborated with brands like Ralph Lauren, artists such as Miranda Lambert, popular shows like Yellowstone, and companies like Edward Jones offering consulting, custom products, design, private label projects, and marketing services. He has made many leather projects and repairs alongside his business partner Dale Martin and his father Jay Ellerman for a variety of customers. He and his father Jay have also trained and rode many horses while also helping others with their horses and roping. He enjoys being creative, collaborating, building products and designs, working with people, horses, friends and family.


Brit is a licensed and practicing real estate agent with Chase Brothers, LLC in Wyoming, Arizona Legends Realty in Arizona, and Orr Land Company in Colorado. He specializes in ranches, luxury properties, and large acreages, combining his practical experience with strategic, client-focused service. Brit’s approach blends traditional values with innovative strategies, allowing him to build strong relationships with his clients and tailor his services to meet their unique needs.


Brit enjoys being involved in the community, having coached high school basketball, doing projects with the Denver Rescue Mission or speaking at schools, churches, and on TV. He enjoys playing music, grilling for friends, horses, rodeoing, writing, entrepreneurship, his family, sharing his faith and helping others through business and collaborative opportunities.
