Makenna Ellerman

Makenna Ellerman is a dynamic financial advisor, investment strategist, accomplished rodeo competitor, and community leader. She is dedicated to helping clients achieve their financial goals with confidence and clarity while balancing her passion for rodeo and mentoring youth.

Makenna brings a rare combination of intellect, discipline, and heart to every client relationship. She holds associates degrees in Psychology and Health Science and a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of Wyoming. She has earned her Series 7 and Series 65 certifications and holds variable life and health insurance licenses, allowing her to provide comprehensive guidance in retirement planning, group retirement accounts, traditional and variable life and health insurance, tax and estate planning, and investments, including individual, joint, college, IRA, 401(k), and 403(b) accounts.

In addition to her professional expertise, Makenna is a current and accomplished rodeo athlete. She is a Montana Circuit Finals qualifier and a College National Finals Rodeo qualifier in barrels, breakaway, and goat tying, and she also competes in team roping. She comes from a family with a successful background in rodeo, ranching, horse racing and business, which helped shape her competitive spirit, strong work ethic, and unwavering determination.

Makenna is also deeply committed to her community. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Downtown Sheridan Association and is a proud member of the Sheridan Wyoming Chamber of Commerce. In her spare time, she mentors youth in the community, providing lessons in riding, barrel racing, goat tying, and roping, passing along her skills, experience, and love for the sport.

Married to Brit Ellerman, in their spare time they enjoy time ranching, roping, and spending time with their families.
